Easy Halloween Cookies are ideal for a quick and easy Halloween treat. These cookies have a soft and buttery base and are dipped in white chocolate and decorated with colorful Halloween sprinkles. They're a hit with both kids and adults!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Orange food coloring
  • Purple food coloring
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles
  • White chocolate melts or candy coating

Instructions:

Warm your oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet

Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl with a whisk

Spread the softened butter and sugar out in a different large bowl

Beat them together until the mixture is light and fluffy

Mix the egg and vanilla extract into the butter and sugar until everything is well mixed together

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones one at a time and mix them together until a dough forms

Split the dough into three equal pieces

Use orange food coloring to color one part and purple food coloring to color another

Don't color the third part

Roll out small amounts of each color of dough into balls

Put the balls on the baking sheet that has been prepared, and use your palm to gently press them down to make them a little flatter

After the oven is hot, bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden

After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet

Then, move them to a wire rack to cool all the way down

Follow the directions on the package to melt the white chocolate melts or candy coating in a bowl that can go in the microwave

Once the cookies are cool, dip them halfway into the melted white chocolate or candy coating

Then, add Halloween-themed sprinkles right away to finish off the look

The cookies should be put on parchment paper while you wait for the chocolate to set

After the chocolate has set, your Easy Halloween Cookies are ready to eat
