Perfect Roast Beef



This perfect roast beef recipe yields tender, juicy meat with a flavorful herb crust. It's an ideal dish for special occasions or Sunday dinners, sure to impress your guests with its simplicity and deliciousness.

Ingredients:

  • 1 3 to 4-pound beef rib roast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 450F 230C

Cut up the garlic and put it in a small bowl

Add the thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper

Spread the herb mix out evenly on top of the beef rib roast

To roast the meat, put it on a rack in a pan with the fat side facing up

Set the oven to high and roast the meat for 15 minutes to sear it

Lower the oven temperature to 325F 165C and keep roasting until the meat is done the way you like it, which should take about 1 hour and 30 minutes for medium-rare

Take it out of the oven and let it cool down for 15 minutes before cutting it

Cut the roast across the grain and serve
